Once you have made a few sales on MyKade, people around you start asking: "How do you do it?" That question is the start of a team. MyKade's Invite & earn lets you bring those people in and be rewarded when they succeed.
How Invite & earn works
The rule is short and simple:
- You have your own invite code in the app.
- When someone joins MyKade with your code, you earn 10% of their commission on delivered orders.
- This runs for 6 months from when they join.
Notice the words "delivered orders". You earn nothing from someone simply signing up, and nothing from parcels that come back. You only earn when the person you invited actually sells and the customer actually receives the parcel. That keeps everyone honest, and it means the best way to earn from your team is to help them sell well.
A worked example
Imagine a friend joins with your code and, in one month, earns Rs 6,000 in commission from delivered orders. Your share would be 10% of that: Rs 600. If that friend earns nothing that month, you earn nothing from them. This is only an example to show how the 10% works, not a promise of what anyone will earn.
Who to invite
Invite people who have a real reason to sell, not just anyone with a phone number:
- A friend who is always sharing deals on WhatsApp Status or Facebook.
- A parent at home who wants a little income around the children's school hours.
- A small shop owner who already has customers walking in every day.
- A relative in another town who can reach people you cannot.
Everyone you invite must be 18 or over and must pass the identity check (NIC photos, a selfie and bank details) before ordering, just like you did.
How to invite without spamming
Please don't paste your code into every group you are in. It annoys people and it rarely works. Instead:
- Talk to people one by one, the way you would recommend a good tailor or a good tuition class.
- Be honest about what it is: free to join, no stock to buy, but it takes effort and not every parcel is delivered.
- Send a short message like this:
Hi! I've been selling online with MyKade for a while. It's free to join and you don't buy stock. If you want to try, use my code when you sign up and I'll help you with your first orders.
Never promise a fixed income. If someone joins expecting easy money, they will give up in a week, and you will have earned nothing.
Help your team sell, because that is where you earn
Your 10% only exists when your team's parcels are delivered. So the most useful thing you can do is pass on what you have learned:
- Show them how to read a product page: your price, suggested price and profit.
- Teach them to confirm every order before placing it. In real Sri Lankan online shops, 42% of returned parcels came back because the customer didn't answer the courier.
- Point them to the MyKade Academy in the app, with its "first 10 customers" mission.
- Remind them that returns hurt their seller level, and that every seller gets 3 free returns before Amber and Red sellers pay a Rs 150 return fee.
A team of three people who sell carefully is worth far more than thirty people who signed up and disappeared.
Six months, then what?
The 10% runs for 6 months for each person you invite. Think of it as a thank-you for helping someone get started, not as a pension. Your own selling is still the heart of your business. The good news is that teaching others usually makes you a better seller too.
